A very warm welcome to my website whether you’ve arrived here intentionally or by accident. I’m a psychologist now focusing my practice on Somatic Experiencing rather than health coaching because I consider SE reaches deeper to heal the causes of chronic health conditions and life difficulties.
What I offer
Somatic experiencing
This gentle and effective body-oriented approach helps people (re)gain vitality, resilience and joy, healing stress, trauma (including attachment and childhood developmental trauma), overwhelm or chronic health conditions. Go to the Somatic Experiencing page for further details of this modality.
How we’d work together
We’d work in partnership using Somatic Experiencing, building a trusting relationship, expanding your resilience and exploring the specific issues you bring. My approach also includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Bodynamic and attachment work.
You have expertise about you, a toolbox of strategies which have helped you manage your life and probably curiosity otherwise you wouldn't be reading these words. I will bring knowledge, experience, a toolkit of skills and my commitment to supporting, guiding and celebrating your journey to vitality, increased resilience and achieving your specific goals.
Sessions take place on Zoom.
what about Coaching?
Coaching individuals who want to improve their health and wellness was previously the main focus of my work. However, I came to realise that the deepest causes of health problems and what constrains us from making changes are better addressed through Somatic Experiencing rather than coaching.
