1. cancellation policy

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel a session. Cancellations made within 48 hours of a session will incur the full fee if I’m unable to fill that session.

2. confidentiality and data protection

In accordance with the current UK data protection laws, this privacy policy states how I use your personal data when you interact with me for Somatic Experiencing and Talks.

As a member of CThA I abide by and conform to their standards and ethical requirements which include strict confidentiality.

The personal data I would hold about you as my Somatic Experiencing client:

• Identity Data: Title, First Name, Last Name.

• Contact Data:

  Mailing Address, Email addresses, Telephone numbers;

  GP contact details;

  Phone and email details are held on my personal password protected hardware.

• Session Data: Handwritten notes to provide cues + reminders of session detail are -

  Stored in a secure, locked, fire retardant cabinet;

  Retained for the period specified by my professional indemnity insurers. As soon as the retaining period has lapsed, all notes are destroyed.

• When I use your personal data: to contact you regarding any of the following -

  To complement our work;

  To rearrange a session;

  To submit a receipted invoice;

  To provide any updated information regarding my services.

• Disclosure:

  I do not share any of your details with any other party;

  My own supervisor does not have access to any identifying information relating to you.

I adhere to the Complementary Therapies Association (CThA) Code of Practice, have full professional indemnity insurance and am a member of the Somatic Experiencing Association UK (SEAUK).
